Steve Dalton

Steve Dalton OBE CDir FIoD (Dip) CCMI was appointed as Advisory Board Member in April 2023. He has 40 years’ experience working within complex supply chains of Sony, where he remains an advisor today. Steve’s expertise is in the B2B and B2C, OEM and Contract Manufacturing environment, Steve has extensive knowledge and expertise overseeing manufacturing, engineering, quality, new business creation, people development and is a seasoned professional at delivering high performance teams for global electronic products distribution. During his tenor at Sony, he was responsible for leading major transformations, operational business initiatives and is a proven change management expert and focused on the delivery of business sustainability and good company governance. Steve was awarded an OBE in 2010 for services to industry in Wales and is a qualified chartered director through the Institute of Directors, in addition to holding honorary fellowships at Cardiff Metropolitan University, University of Glamorgan and Bridgend College. Steve also holds the position of independent chair of Football Association of Wales.
