Laurie Mayers

Laurie Mayers was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on 1st May 2024. She brings over forty years of experience in financial services, spanning commercial and investment banking, capital markets, trade finance, risk, regulation, and governance.

Laurie has held senior risk and regulatory roles at Moody’s Investors Service, the Prudential Regulation Authority, Ernst and Young, NatWest, and Morgan Stanley. Her previous non-executive experience includes 12 years as a trustee on the main Council of U.K. charity PDSA and Chair of the Society’s Finance Subcommittee.
